From The Campground

Hamm Creek Park is a beautiful wilderness environment located approximately 8 miles west of Rio Vista, Texas. It is the only public access to the Brazos River in Johnson County. The park is situated below high wooded hills and is home to various species of wildlife such as fox, deer, turkey, armadillo, and various species of birds. Fishing is great, from the bank of the river or in a boat. With picnic shelters, primitive and RV camp sites, playgrounds, clean restrooms and other amenities, Hamm Creek Park is a great place to enjoy the outdoors.
