Northlake Village RV Park in Roanoke, TX is a serene and well-kept park surrounded by the beautiful pines of East Texas. Although the area can be a bit dark at night, it is fairly easy to navigate. However, some guests noted that finding their site was difficult due to a lack of lighting and a garbage bin obstructing the site number sign. The park charges by the week for electricity, which some guests found unusually high. Unfortunately, there is little sound barrier between the park and the highway and industrial park, resulting in a constant noise from heavy traffic and industrial equipment, making it not as quiet as advertised. Adding to the noise, there is a nearby hitting range and paintball park which adds to the noise pollution. Moreover, some guests reported that the parks free Wi-Fi was extremely limited to email usage only and that there was no cable or consistent antenna coverage, which added to the frustration. Despite this, the park is generally well-maintained, clean, and has a fitness center with basic equipment and a small pool. The majority of the parks residents are permanent, resulting in some guests observing a lack of adherence to the parks rules, such as speed limits and leash policies.
