Though the park still has plenty of trees, drought will have an impact on them. The park is generally nice, with full service 30/50 amp sites and a variety of events scheduled weekly and monthly. Guests can easily drive to nearby Mustang island and San Padre National Park for beach fun and dining options like 495 Chesapeake Eats. Though some guests have expressed disappointment since the new owners took over (with higher prices and no improvements made), the office staff is still accommodating and friendly.
