Located between Rockport and Aransas Pass, the park is surrounded by live oak trees and wildlife, making it very quiet and secluded. The park offers a heated saltwater pool, laundromat, exercise room, dry sauna, clean restrooms with showers and a manager on site. The campsite is clean and has the usual amenities including a swimming pool. The interior roads and pads are concrete, and the pull throughs are narrow and short. The last half-mile of the road to the park is gravel and washboarded in places, so caution is advised. The camp hosts are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Wifi and cable tv are available, and the laundry room and equipment are all clean and in good working order. Most of the tenants are permanent, but there are a few snowbirds as well. There is nowhere to walk other than the park, so getting to the beach on the Gulf may be difficult. Despite this, the park is highly recommended for a peaceful stay.
