Coastal Breeze Campground is a great place to stay for a family vacation near the water and beach. It is located in a small coastal fishing village near the bigger city of Corpus Christi, and offers spacious sites, clean facilities, and friendly personnel. The campground has two (now heated) pools, a clubhouse, a fishing pier, a put-put golf course, a playground, a dog park, and bath houses. There are no picnic tables, but concrete pads are throughout the park. The park is out in the country but only a 5 minute drive to shopping and restaurants including a Walmart. The campground is popular with fishermen in south Texas, who use their RVs as a weekend fishing home base. There is a fishing/kayak dock, a lighted fishing pier, and a fish cleaning station. The wifi works, but has daily download limits for their free version. Unfortunately, the new KOA management is rude and hateful to work with, and there is a lot of traffic that drives too fast. There are no shade trees, and the turns are tight for big rigs. There is also no coax connection for cable TV, and the rear dog park has burrs in the grass. The campground hosts activities such as yoga, zumba, bingo, bunco, movie nights, breakfasts, and more. The campground also has an over-the-air TV with 24 channels, and cable is coming soon.
