Falcon State Park is a beautiful park located along the Texas-Mexico border. The park offers a variety of activities including fishing, swimming, camping, bird watching, water skiing, boating, geocaching, hiking, and relaxing. Visitors can stay at a campsite, screened shelter, or cabin. The park has 2.8 miles of trails, a recreation hall, and a viewing platform for wildlife. The 84,000-acre Falcon International Reservoir is a popular spot for fishing largemouth bass and channel catfish. The park is also home to many bird species, including tropical species. The park rangers and volunteers lead programs on the birds, animals, and plants of the park.
