Greentree Village North is an older commercial campground located in San Antonio, Texas. It offers great access to family in the area, as well as WiFi and cable TV. The roads have lots of pot holes and some pretty annoying speed bumps, and the parks management staff has very little experience. There are plenty of pull-through, level sites with enough room to have all of your slide-outs extended without having to worry about hitting a pole, tree, or water faucet. The daily rate is high for the amenities and general appearance of the place. There is a city-owned lot right next door, and there are trucks dumping and moving large amounts of dirt starting at 7 am and continuing until 10 pm. There are burr clover weeds, and the trees at some sites prevent satellite reception. The clubhouse is beautiful, but under-used. There is a fenced pet yard so your dog can exercise off leash, and the laundry facilities are good. The park is close to San Antonio attractions, and there is easy on/off to I-35. Unfortunately, there is a lot of vehicle traffic in and out at all hours, and there is a lot of noise from a railroad/city street crossing about 1/4 mile away.
