Elks Lodge #216 RV Park is a small, clean campground located off I-10 in San Antonio. They have 8 full hook-up sites with 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. The sites are grassy and gravel, and are generally level. The park host, Randy, is very friendly and helpful in getting you into the right spot. The lodge is only open Wednesday through Friday, but the members are welcoming and the burgers on Wednesday are great. The park is $25 a night for full hook-ups, and $10 for dry camping. Wifi is available, but the signal is not always strong. The park can be a bit tight for larger rigs, and some of the power outlets are placed strangely, but the electric boxes are placed in between two sites. The park can fill up quickly, so it is best to arrive early. The highway is far enough away that the noise doesnt bother campers, but there are some homeless in the area. Overall, this is a great place to stay while on the road.
