Mission Delores RV Park is a quiet, well-maintained campground located in San Augustine, Texas. It is owned and operated by the City of San Augustine and offers spacious, paved sites with full hook-ups, picnic tables, and grills. The grounds are well-maintained, with mature trees and no burrs. Cell signal is strong and satellite is easy to aim. The bathrooms are among the cleanest facilities youll find on your travels. Reservations can be made through The Friends of Mission Delores Facebook site or by calling the provided number. Discounts are available for Coast to Coast Good Neighbor, Escapees, and Passport America memberships. The park is located near the historic downtown area, and Mary Kays Country Diner is a great restaurant to visit for local flavor. Unfortunately, there is no signage for the RV park at the highway, and the entry gate code may not work. There is also no place to eat dinner for late arrivals, and the self-registration payment system can be confusing. Additionally, the taps are so low to the ground that it is difficult to use a water filter. However, overall this is a great campground and a great value.
