Sargent RV Park is a hidden gem located in a small town on the Gulf of Mexico. The park is small, with only 7 sites, but each site is large and level, with full hookups (water, electric, and sewer) and 50 amp service. The park has a great view of the ocean, with the intercoastal waterway nearby, and is only a few steps away from the beach. There is a laundry area with new machines, a picnic table, and plenty of green grass. The owner, Tim, is friendly and welcoming, and is a wealth of information about the area. The park has reliable WiFi and Dish-based digital TV, and is an ideal spot for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Unfortunately, there is a heavy salt spray from across the road, and the area is known for its mosquito infestation, so be sure to bring plenty of bug spray. There is also construction noise and dust from a bridge project nearby, but it should be finished in 2021. The nearest town, Lake Jackson, is 28 miles away, and the nearest restaurant, The Crab Trap, is 8 miles away.

Sargent Beach RV Park is an exclusive paradise located on the Island of Sargent Beach, Texas, situated between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is the only RV Park located directly on the beach. The park offers large concrete RV sites and roadway suitable for large Fifth Wheel RV’s and Class A Motorhomes. It also provides 30/50 Amp Electrical Service Pedestals with Water & Sewer, Free Fiber Optic High-Speed Internet/Wi-Fi, Laundry Room with a View, Garbage Drop-Off Dumpster, 24 Hour Access, Public Boat Ramp ½ mile from the park, Public fishing/observation pier 1/2 mile from the park, Bait Camps nearby, and several local restaurants in the area. The location is prime for fishing, crabbing, kayaking, beach combing, bird watching, shell hunting, watching the passing tug boats, or just plain relaxing watching the daily sunrise and sunset.
