From The Campground
Ragtown Recreation Area is located on the Texas shore of Toledo Bend Reservoir and is maintained and operated by the Sabine River Authority of Texas. Completed in 1975, this area is nestled high on a bluff and offers spectacular views of the water. Visitors can hike along 1-mile long Mother Nature's Trail winding past magnificent oak and beech trees along the lakeshore. The campground offers 14 single sites and 11 double sites for RVs up to 24 feet, with tent pads at each site. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, lantern posts, flush toilets, showers, and a concrete boat ramp. The extended camping fee is $5.00 for a single campsite and $8.00 for a double campsite per night, and the day-use fee is $2.00 per vehicle, per day.
