Splashway Campground is the perfect place for a family getaway. It offers large, grass and hard packed gravel sites that can accommodate larger rigs, as well as plenty of shade trees and a short walk to the waterpark. The campground also offers a variety of activities, such as a catch and release fishing pond, hiking trails, playground area, volleyball court, and smore night. They also have a small gas station and dollar general nearby for food and other items. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a great performance by a musician out of San Marcos each evening. Prices are a bit steep, but you can get discounts with a Ray Club membership. The waterpark is closed for seasons but is the best in Texas and offers a wave pool. The park is family friendly and very clean, and they are even putting in ziplines this upcoming summer.
