This campground is a great place to stay if youre looking to visit San Antonio. It offers level concrete parking spots with full hookups, and a 10% discount at participating RV parks with a card. Most of the campers are full-time and the area is generally clean. The only downside is the lack of shade due to the type of trees in the area. The combo laundry/shower area is nice and clean, and even has a vending machine. Cable is available, and there is good access to South San Antonio and Lackland AFB. The restroom building is currently under construction, and the one that is available is not well-maintained. The park is generally quiet except for a few early morning visitors. There are lots of shade trees and plenty of places to walk your pet. The new owners have added lights, which may be a downside for those who prefer the darkness.
