South Padre Island KOA Holiday is a well-managed RV park with friendly and accommodating staff. The facilities are clean and maintained, although some updating is needed. The location is the best part, with plenty to do and enjoy on SPI. The pool looked great, and there are also a hot tub and laundry facility available. The campsite is dog-friendly, but keep in mind that the dogs grounds were covered in stickers. Although the sites are a bit too close together, the septic smell can be overwhelming at times, especially near the bay. Nonetheless, many guests found it to be an enjoyable experience, and many have been coming back every year.
