GenieSummary

Guadalupe River State Park in Spring Branch, TX is an exceptional park with spacious and separated sites. AT&T and Verizon have good cell signal and the bathrooms are kept immaculate with individual showers. The hiking trails are excellent and range from moderate to difficult with a lot of rocks along most of the paths. The river is beautiful with great trout fishing and kayak access. The Bauer Unit, another section of the park, has some great hiking trails too, but there are no facilities there so plan accordingly. The park is very clean and staff are pleasant and helpful. There are several camp hosts and the ranger staff is friendly. The entrance at registration is a bit narrow, but overall, the park is excellent and we would definitely stay there again. There is also a beautiful guided hike on Saturdays to Honey Creek SNA that we would recommend taking.
