What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located just outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park, and is a great spot to stay while visiting the park. The sites are full hookup, but black water cannot be dumped in the sewer. The campground could use some cleanup work, as there are a lot of objects lying around, and it has the potential to be really nice with some TLC. The sites are gravel, mostly FHU, mostly pull-thru, and very close together. There is free Wi-Fi, and Verizon signal is 3 bars 3G. The restrooms and showers are clean and functional, and the owners and other guests are very nice and easy to deal with. Unfortunately, the campground does not offer any refunds, so it is best to be aware of this before making a reservation.

Study Butte RV Park is located south of the junction of TX 118 and 170. The park offers electricity, flush toilets, and showers. It is conveniently located near Big Bend National Park and other nearby communities that offer services, amenities, and entertainment. The Big Bend region is a wildly beautiful natural region, with a complex and fascinating history. Over one million acres of public land including Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park offer hiking, camping, river running, horse riding, mountain bicycling, birding, jeep touring, and abundant sightseeing opportunities on paved and improved roads.
