This campground is located conveniently off Highway 31 in Tyler, Texas and is a great spot for short or long-term stays. It has concrete sites with level slabs and easy access for big rigs, although the sites are very narrow and awnings cannot be extended without touching the neighbors slide. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, although there are no electrical outlets in the restrooms. The park is close to town and the East Texas State Fair, and the nearby Sky Vue drive-in movie theater is a great attraction. Unfortunately, there is a resident who runs around in a wheel chair trying to intimidate and harass people, and the manager is protecting him. Additionally, the park is owned by an Investment Company, and there is no Good Sams discount as advertised. Despite these drawbacks, this campground is a great place to stay for a day or two to enjoy Tyler.
