However, the lake views and wide open spaces make this a peaceful place to camp. The campsites are wide and open with lots of space between them, allowing for plenty of privacy. The roads are in bad shape with numerous ruts and potholes, making it difficult to back-in with larger rigs. There are some trees for shade, but not many. The park is hilly, giving some sites a great view of the lake. The bathrooms were old and dilapidated, but had hot water and good water pressure. There is no sewer hookup, but all sites have full hookups, including electric, water and cable TV. Despite the roads and bathrooms needing repair, the park was quiet and peaceful with good cell phone reception and lots of TV channels.
