Silos Campground is a small, no-frills RV park located in the middle of the West Texas Panhandle. It is a flat pasture with long, level, gravel sites that are separated by grassy areas. Each site has full hook-ups, a picnic table, and trash cans. There is no sense of privacy between sites, but the campground is quiet and dark, perfect for watching stars and sunsets. The on-site host is available via phone, text, or knock on his door. The bathrooms and showers are currently under construction, but the campground offers a free laundry facility and a communal fire pit with a picnic table. There is also a small dog park and a common green space. The campground is located about 25 minutes away from Palo Duro Canyon and Amarillo, and is a great halfway point for travelers between Texas and Colorado.

The Silos RV Park is a big rig friendly campground located in Canyon, Texas. The park offers 12 spacious RV sites with electric, water, and sewer hookups, as well as 10 tent sites. Amenities include picnic tables, a dog park, a play area, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a laundry room. The park is conveniently located 2.2 miles off Hwy 60 and less than 30 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The Silos RV Park also offers a large guest home within walking distance available to rent for the day and/or overnight. Rates for RV sites start at $40 per night for back-in spots and $45 per night for pull-thru spots. Dump/fill only services are also available for $10. The park also offers monthly rates for eligible back-in spaces. Storm shelter is available on the property. Self check-in is available, and all reservations are made and paid for online.
