This campground is a great spot for a peaceful overnight stay. It is near Roy Roberts Lake, making it a great spot for water activities. The park is well maintained, with gravel sites that are level and have concrete patios and tables. There is plenty of room to walk the dog, and the view of the lake is beautiful. The staff is friendly, and the park honors TACO and Passport America (though not on weekends). The laundry is clean and only $1.00 each. The management uses texting, which is convenient. There is great Verizon cell service, and the air card is fast. There are large pull-throughs and back-ins, though the cable TV and phone hookups do not work. The park is full of permanent trailers, and there are quite a few construction workers staying there. The sign to the park is missing, so it can be difficult to find the entrance.
