This campground is a great place to stay with plenty of pull through and back in sites. It is an older established park that is perfect for a one night stop on a drive across the country. The new family run owners are working hard to update and spruce up the place, and the office staff are friendly and helpful. Guests will be welcomed with a cupcake on arrival, and the hosts even made us plates of turkey and mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving. The sites are level, have full hook ups, and are 88 ft long. There is a shared restroom/shower complex that is kept clean, and a gathering area with Adirondack chairs, party lights and fire pit. There is good T-Mobile coverage, and the park is well-managed and maintained. The owners have even been known to provide breakfast and dessert a couple of times. For those who need an overnight stop, this is a great value for the money.

Walnut RV Park is a family-friendly RV park located on Historic Route 66, just 25 minutes west of Amarillo, Texas. The park offers large pull-through RV sites with full hookups, men's and women's showers and restrooms, and a laundry mat with 6 washers and 6 dryers. Onsite, there is a 1950's era Gulf service station that makes for a great family photo. Weekly, monthly, and tent sites are available. Come to an RV park near Amarillo, Texas where you will be treated like family.
