The park is well maintained, with level sites, a covered picnic table area with a grill and fire ring. The picnic table, water spout, electrical box, etc was covered in spider webs but the sites were otherwise clean. The view of the lake and sunrise was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is quiet and peaceful, with no street lights or loud music, and the entrance gate is locked from 10pm-6am. The toilets and showers are clean and there is plenty of TP in the restrooms. There is no playground, basketball court, or lake swimming area, but there is plenty of room to hike or bike. The only downside is that there is no privacy due to the lack of vegetation. Overall, this is a great campground on Waco Lake and a great value for the dollar.
