What others are saying about this campground
The park is right on the lake and you can see the lake from most sites. There are also a few trails to walk around the lake. The park has a gate code to enter and exit, so make sure you get that code when you check in. This RV Park by Lake Waco is a great value for the beautiful lake views it offers. With its close proximity to the marina, it is sure to be a happening spot in the summertime. The campground has both back in and pull through sites with 50 amp full hookups, and the spots are not too close together. The road in is long and rutted with many potholes, so take it slow. The camp hosts are very responsive, and the WiFi and cell reception are strong. The private bathrooms and showers are clean and well-maintained. The park is full of wildlife, with deer, birds, and other animals around. The only negatives are the road leading in and the lack of trees. The park owner is putting as little money as possible into the park, so the sites are not level and are covered in gravel. There are also speed bumps by the office and entrance to the campground. Mosquitoes can be an issue, and the bathrooms and showers are closed during cold weather.
