Lake Waco Campground is a great spot for a peaceful getaway. Located on the corner of Lake Waco, the campground offers a variety of amenities, including water and electric hookups, clean bathrooms and showers, a boat ramp, and a dock for fishing. Half of the park is shaded by trees, providing a great option for those looking for some shade. The campground is also dog friendly and the sites are spaced far enough apart for a nice stay. The campground is conveniently located near Wacos attractions, including Magnolia Farms and DT Waco, as well as an HEB and Walmart. Its also just a short drive away from Papa Rollos, a local joint that serves up the best pizza in the world. Campers can reserve their site online for between $12 and $24 a night. Be aware that there is road noise from the nearby highway and the toilet/shower house could use some extra cleaning. But overall, this campground is a great spot to call home for a few nights!
