Lake Whitney RV is a great campground for RV campers. The park has several loops named after letters. A Loop is shaded and secluded with plenty of room between campers. The gravel spaces are level and come with a picnic table. The park is pet-friendly and everyone takes care of cleaning up after their pets. Though there are no fire rings, propane fire-pits are allowed, and the park may install fire rings soon. The impressive office has a dedicated theater room for family movie nights. In addition, theres an activity building further back in the park that includes games and puzzles, a lending library, and a laundry room for campers. The park has a pool and hot tub, and there are several social events planned by the office each week. The park has excellent cell and streaming service with providers like ATT. The roads need repair, but the bathrooms, office, and laundry are in great condition, and updates are coming soon. The staff members are friendly and helpful, and they helped campers pick the best Thousand Trails membership package that suits their needs. Campers need to pay $3 per night for 50 amp. However, in the future, all sites will be 50 amp, and there will be no surcharge.
