This campground on Lake Conroe is perfect for long-term stays, offering weekly and monthly rates. It features a pool, hot tub, boat launch area, clubhouse, and activity room. Sites are well-spaced, with concrete pads and picnic tables, and plenty of trees for shade. The lakefront sites are particularly beautiful, with stunning sunsets. There is a screening process for reservations, and the office staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there are no planned activities and some of the long-term renters have an attitude towards travelers. The Wi-Fi is inconsistent, and the pull-through sites tend to flood with rainfall. There are also no-fishing signs posted around the lake. Despite these drawbacks, this is still a great spot for a peaceful and scenic stay.
