What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a great spot for an easy off-the-road boondocking experience. It offers mostly pull throughs with plenty of room to maneuver, and full hookups. There is no electricity, but there is a gas/quick stop just down the road, 1/4 mile away, with iffy water and a sewer dump. The campground is located behind a small restaurant/convenience store, and the attendant is very helpful and friendly. There is a small trading post with light food and beverages, and a steakhouse nearby. The views of red stone cliffs are spectacular, and there is a short walk down to the San Juan river. It is a 22 mile drive to Monument Valley, and there is good Verizon Air Card & cell service, but no TV service. Its a great spot for star gazing at night and exploring the area during the day.
