From The Campground
Ponderosa Campground is a timbered-setting campground situated in a ponderosa pine forest area, near Salt Creek. The campground is within 1.5 miles of the Mt. Nebo Wilderness and close fishing streams, access to hiking trails, national scenic byway (Nebo Loop) and six miles from Devil's Kitchen Geological Area. The campground offers 23 single sites with a capacity of 8 people + 1 vehicle. Improved amenities include firewood, grills, and picnic tables. Drinking water and non-flush toilets are available. Pets must be leashed and quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. No horses or ATV's are allowed.
