The campground is very well kept and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. There are plenty of trees to hang your hammock from and plenty of trails to explore. The sites are well spaced apart and its very family friendly. Pineview Reservoir Campground is a great destination for families looking for a peaceful getaway. Located just 40 minutes from the city, the campground is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city and offers stunning views of the reservoir. With 58 single sites, 9 double sites, 4 group sites, and plenty of parking for boat trailers, there is something for everyone here. The campground is very well maintained and clean, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. All sites have metal fire rings and picnic tables, and there are vault toilets and drinking water spigots spread throughout the campground. There is also a small convenience store in the reservation hut. The beach is a great place to spend the day, with plenty of space to spread out and build sand castles, and the lake is great for fishing and swimming. There are also many trails and climbing spots nearby. The only downside is that the campground can get pretty busy and it is recommended to reserve sites well in advance. Dogs are allowed on leash at the campground only, not on the beach.
