Located just 40 minutes from the city, it is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The campground is situated on the south side of Pineview Reservoir, offering 58 single sites, 9 double sites, 4 group sites, and plenty of parking for boat trailers. The sites come with metal fire rings and picnic tables, and there are vault toilets and drinking water spigots spread throughout the campground. There is also a small convenience store in the reservation hut. The scenery here is beautiful, and the campground is very clean and well maintained. Visitors can bring their jet skis right over to the beach, and there is a dog beach as well. There is a great beach front not far from the campsite, and lots of trees to hang hammocks. The lake is great for swimming, fishing, and motor boating, and there are plenty of trails nearby to explore. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the campground is pretty busy. It is best to reserve sites well in advance, as it fills up for the entire summer as soon as the reservation window opens.

Anderson Cove Campground is a high standard campground, marina, group camping, and day-use beach located on the banks of Pineview Reservoir in scenic Ogden Valley. The campground has paved roads and spurs with a high level of security. It has manicured lawns lined with a variety of shade trees. The campground offers a cafe/gas station, convenience items for sale, security overhead lighting, and each toilet is lit inside. The main gate is locked each night at 10 p.m. to prevent unauthorized entry. A tire ripper prevents entry through the exit road. Law Enforcement patrols the campground each night. Firewood is available to purchase from the campground host. The campground also has a pay phone, pop, ice, and trailer dump station. A beach is an extension of the campground that is only available for day use. Volleyball courts and horseshoe pits are located within the campground. Dogs are not allowed in this area.
