The back-in row beside the highway is mostly occupied by long-term campers, while the pull-thru sites are for travelers. Although the park is very basic and small, the convenient hookups and gravel make it easy to set up camp. The dog run is not always kept clean, but the park provides a dump station. Nearby, there is a gas station, grocery store, and hardware shop. Additionally, there is a little drive-in with an English double-decker bus at the end of the block that serves ice cream sundaes. The owners are responsive and helpful, even though they are not always on-site. The park is about 35 minutes away from Capitol Reef National Park and other parks and forests in the area.
