This campground is perfect for those looking for a quiet, private getaway. It is ideal for both tents and small to medium RVs, with tight turns for larger RVs. The campground is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of trees and shade. It is conveniently located near the city and lake, and only 10 miles off the main highway. There are no hookups, but there is a flush toilet on site and firewood can be purchased from the camp host. National park cardholders can get a discounted rate, and in early June the poppy fields are a beautiful sight.

From The Campground
Box Elder Campground is located in Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest near the community of Mantua, between Wellsville and Brigham City. The campground offers 25 single sites, 4 picnic sites, and 4 group sites (A, B, C, and D) with varying capacities. The campground has flush restrooms and drinking water, but no hookups or waste station. Campfires are only permitted in Forest Service constructed permanent cement or metal fire rings. The campground is open from May through October and reservations are required for some of the single sites and all group sites. The campground also has firewood available for purchase.
