This campground is a great destination for those looking to get away from it all and enjoy some time outdoors. Located on the southwest corner of the Mantua Reservoir, the campground is surrounded by trees and lots of grass, providing plenty of shade and a great atmosphere. The campground is also just a stones throw away from the reservoir, making it easy to access the water. The Country Store has all the necessities, plus a small diner and bike and kayak rentals. The manager/owner is very friendly and is planning to make improvements to the campground, such as adding more gravel to the parking and walking areas. Be aware that locals may park their vehicles in designated RV spots, and that there may be some noise in the afternoons from the kids in the area. Overall, this is a great campground for those looking for a peaceful getaway.
