GenieSummary

This campground is a great spot for climbers and nature lovers alike. Located only 90 minutes from Salt Lake City, it is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. With plenty of campsites right next to climbing areas, the fall foliage is a sight to behold. There is a yummy soda shop right outside of the canyon, and if the spots are full, there is plenty of camping along the side of the road. Verizon service is available just outside the campground, and the primitive camping sites come with vault toilets and fire rings. There is a small creek for your pets to cool down in, and the sites have picnic tables and fire pits. There is no water or cell service, but there are plenty of sport routes of all levels and a scenic 4 mile loop hike to a viewpoint. Be sure to store your food and trash properly as the area is home to bears and cougars. For only $10 a night, this campground is worth the visit!
