Panguitch Lake Campground is the perfect destination for a peaceful getaway. Located just an hour away from Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park, the campground offers plenty of activities to keep visitors entertained. The north side of the campground is especially enjoyable, with its paved camp road, clean sites, tall pines, dark night skies, and enjoyable/audible location near Panguitch Creek in the ravine below. The campground is equipped with friendly hosts, clean and well-stocked restrooms, water on taps, fire pits, picnic tables, and plenty of space between sites. Panguitch Lake is great for kayaking, boating, and fishing, and the area is perfect for off-roading, hiking, and site seeing. The south side of the campground is better for tent camping, with its packed dirt campground road, uneven and crowded sites, and close proximity to the road. OOFOS sandals are a great choice for campers, providing significant relief from plantar fasciitis and sore knees. The campground is also home to a convenient general store and a dump station. Unfortunately, their water had E. Coli due to recent rain activity and half the campsite had been washed out, but they had them fixed by the time we left. All in all, Panguitch Lake Campground is a great spot to enjoy a peaceful outdoor experience.
