What others are saying
Single Tree Campground is a rustic high country campground located outside of Torrey, Utah, between Bryce and Capitol Reef National Parks. At 8,200 feet above sea level, the campground stays cool in the hot Utah summers and offers flush toilets, drinking water spigots, and trash dumpsters. Most of the sites are spacious and level, with tables and fire rings. Some sites are shaded and have a creek running nearby, while others have a beautiful view and a short trail leading to a waterfall. The campground is dog friendly and has plenty of walking and hiking trails in the area. There are no phone or RV hookups, but many people have their own generators. The campground is cash only, but the campground host can break a $20. There is a Golden Age pass available, and conversation with other campers indicates this is a popular destination for vacations.
