What others are saying
Fruita Campground in Torrey, UT is a beautiful and tranquil campground inside Capitol Reef National Park. Many visitors have loved their stay here as the camp spots are spacious with plenty of room between them. There are ranger programs every night at the amphitheater, which add a lot of fun to the stay. Additionally, the pies at Gifford House are consistently delicious. The restrooms are also well-maintained and the water fill & dump station are conveniently located. Though, unfortunately, there may not be fruit ripe for picking during a stay. The campground is an excellent place for kids to ride bikes. Visitors wished they stayed longer than one night, as everything needed is easily accessible and the shaded areas keep the temperature down. A small herd of deer often visit the campground, which enhances the peaceful atmosphere.
