What others are saying about this campground
Greenwood Lodge & Campsites is a well-run, older campground just a few miles east of Bennington, VT. The back-in sites offer some privacy and some are more secluded than others. The campground is scenic, with great areas to walk around with pets. The setting is beautiful, offering a serene atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean, with good showers, and theres a game room with a microwave and sink available. The firewood they sell is good, and if youre looking for advice on local attractions, the folks running it are friendly and accommodating. Despite it being the last one open in mid-October when all others had closed for the season, Wi-Fi is available if you sit inside the lounge in the office building. Overall, its a great value and a terrific place to stay for a night or several nights.
