Lake Bomoseen KOA Holiday in Castleton, VT offers a well-maintained and kid-friendly campground surrounded by woods and situated on a lake. Visitors have exalted the staff as being friendly and helpful. The sites were found to be clean and easy to set up, with some of them being level. The bathroom facilities were also positively reviewed in regards to their cleanliness and having a lot of hot water and good water pressure. The campground store was said to be good, and visitors enjoyed having easy access to boating and kayaking. Reviewers generally enjoyed their stay and would return, except for a few who stated that they felt rushed and unwelcome when the campground closed for the season.

From The Campground

Vermont's largest lake takes center stage at this KOA. Choose your patch of paradise - a 70-foot-long Pull-Thru RV Site, Deluxe Cabin or a Tent Site and more - then settle in near the lakeshore to enjoy peaceful views of Lake Bomoseen and its surrounding forest. Glide along the shoreline in a canoe or set out in a rowboat to cast for bass, northern pike and trout. You'll find plenty of activity on shore too. Our new swimming pool and added splash pad, indoor movies, mini golf and themed weekends add to the fun. Groups appreciate the large rec hall and covered patio area. The woods are home to deer and bear, which occasionally wander through the campground. Attractions such as Six Flags and Fort Ticonderoga in New York are within an hours drive.
