Champlain Resort Adult Campground is a small, quiet, and peaceful gem located in the Lakes Region of northern Vermont. The campground is situated on Lake Champlain, where campers can enjoy the most amazing sunsets. This park has no-frills, but it is in total contrast to big ‘resort’ campgrounds, which can be overwhelming and busy. The grounds are kept immaculate, and there isnt a speck of trash anywhere in the park. It is a small, adult-only campground, which makes it pretty quiet and private. The campground is off the beaten path, but it makes for a nice, serene place to stay. The park has just enough big rig-friendly sites, and the owners are extremely helpful and friendly. They lead you to your site so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. The roads are a bit narrow, but they are navigable if you go slow. The campsites are scattered around the campground, allowing for more privacy; some are right along the water, providing great views, while others have partial views. The grass is kept mowed, and there is plenty of shade from the apple trees. There is no cable or Wi-Fi, but Verizon phones and hotspots work fine, and you might be able to pick up Burlington stations using an over-the-air antenna. The campground has beach access, but it is rocky, which can be slippery when walking into the water. The campground is near a local ferry dock, which can provide a bit of noise when the boat comes and goes. The parking is limited, but the location makes it worthwhile. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful part of Vermont, Champlain Resort Adult Campground is a fantastic place to visit. Just down the road is a local brewery, and there are a few places to eat in South Hero. It is recommended to go to Burlington, where you can find nice shopping and restaurants. The nearby Grand Isle State Park is also an excellent place for hiking, and there is a great biking trail nearby.

Champlain Resort Adult Campground is located on the shore of Lake Champlain in Grand Isle, Vermont. The campground offers 1600 feet of lakeshore with outstanding sunset views, as well as access for swimming, kayaking, and scuba diving. The twenty-six acres of cedars and orchards provide spacious campsites with ample shade and privacy. The campground caters to retired people, couples without children, and all who care about and respect the environment. The pavilion is centrally located with covered area & picnic tables. Modern bathrooms, with flush toilets and showers, as well as a laundry room, are centrally located, and easily accessible from all sites.
