Quechee State Park is a beautiful park located in Hartford, Vermont. The park offers 6 cabins, 45 tent/RV sites, and 7 lean-to sites which are located in the camping area. Two restrooms with flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and coin-operated hot showers serve the campground. Most sites are large enough to accommodate large RVs. There is a sanitary dump station, but there are no hookups. A large field and play area are also in the campground. Located next to Quechee Gorge is a picnic area with a pit toilet and a hiking trail along the gorge. The park also has a park interpreter offering fun, hands-on activities. Interpreters are park staff solely dedicated to helping you learn more about the natural and cultural history of the park. Some popular activities include night hikes, nature crafts and games, campfire programs and amphibian explorations. Visitors can enjoy fishing at the gorge and nearby attractions include The VINS Nature Center, The Morningside Flight Park, Quechee Gorge Village, and Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park.
