Onion River Campground is a family-run campground located in Plainfield, Vermont. The campground offers a variety of campsites including tent sites and RV sites with 30-amp or 50-amp electric and water hookups. The campground is located next to a fish-laden babbling river and offers a community-oriented and casual camping experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the campground is welcoming to international visitors. Smoking is allowed but cigarette butts must be extinguished and placed in a trash receptacle. Excessive alcohol use, illicit drug use or possession, and underage drinking are not allowed. Vandalism and altering the ecology of the property are strictly prohibited. The campground allows a maximum of 1 RV per site and up to 4 campers per site unless approved by campground management. The maximum number of vehicles per site is 2. Temporary parking for guests is available in the overflow parking area. Abandoned vehicles will be towed away and impounded at vehicle owners’ expense.
