Abel Mountain Campground is a peaceful and relaxing campground nestled in a beautiful hollow surrounded by mountains, trees, and a stream. The roads are dirt, and the campsites are grass with a bit of shade. The campground has full hookups with cable and clean and well-maintained facilities. Large sites provide ample privacy, and there are hiking trails for different abilities located just off the campground. The campground is pretty quiet except for the occasional train that runs by three times a day. The train is fast and relatively quiet, so one can only hear it for less than a minute. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, making it an ideal basecamp for sightseeing or exploring.

Abel Mountain Campground is a family-friendly campground located in Randolph, Vermont. Nestled along the third branch of the White River, the campground offers 131 spacious, grassy sites, 117 of which have water/electric/sewer hookups and 14 with water/electric hookups. All sites come equipped with picnic tables and large fire rings. The campground has clean, modern bathhouses/restrooms with free metered showers, a 40' x 60' heated pool, a small camp store, and amenities such as ice, propane, and campfire wood for sale. Abel Mountain Campground also offers Wi-Fi throughout the park, approximately 5 miles of hiking trails, and a mobile pump-out service. The campground is in the heart of Vermont, making it easy to explore the state's attractions.
