Bears Den Campground is a great place to stay for a peaceful and safe camping experience. The park is well maintained and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as kayaking, boating, fishing, mini golf, horseshoes, soccer nets, playgrounds, and more. There are spacious sites with full hookups, and a nice looking pool. The park also has a boat ramp and trailer parking, as well as laundry facilities. The only downside is that some of the outdoor activities could use updating, and there is a lot of trash on the trails. There is also a weak but usable WiFi signal, FHU, good Verizon 4G, Direct satellite and TV antenna signals, cable TV, outdoor pool, mini golf, and rec center. Check-in is at 3pm, and the park is under new ownership who is receptive to feedback.
