What others are saying about this campground
There is a playground and horseshoe pit, and a boat launch. Branbury State Park is a beautiful campground located on Lake Dunmore in Vermont. The campground is divided into two areas, one heavily wooded and one open grassy area near the lake. Both areas have restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, though hot water is not available in the sinks. There are approximately 50 campsites, some with lean-tos, and plenty of space between sites. Across the street from the campground is access to the lake with plenty of grassy areas, a swimming area, and boat launch. There is also a playground, horseshoe pit, and concession stand. Hiking trails are nearby and there are bears in the area, so be sure to store all food properly. The campground is great for tents, smaller RVs, and larger RVs in the open camping area. There is no hookup available, but there is a dump station.
