Gold Brook Campground in Stowe, VT is a public campground suitable for RVs/travel trailers. However, it is not recommended for tent camping as there is not much privacy between sites. The campground can get quite busy on weekends, but it is less crowded during weekdays. The level, grassy sites are well-maintained, with clean and nice bathroom facilities available. While the pool looked nice, we did not get to use it. The staff are helpful and available if needed. The campground is conveniently located, serving as a good basecamp for accessing Stowe and other surrounding attractions. The proximity to the road can result in moderate road noise, so it is advisable to request a site further down. Some sites may have trouble with drainage during the rainy season. Overall, Gold Brook Campground is a pretty and comfortable basecamp in Stowe, Vermont.
