Riverside Campground in Abingdon, VA is a well-managed, fulltime park that has about six open spots for RVs and trailers. Though the campsites were close together and the tent sites were too near the RVs, the park is very clean and well-maintained. The staff was pleasant and easy to work with, and the showers and bathrooms were cleaned regularly with plenty of hot water and space for toiletries. Though there were only a few spaces to rent, the park is great for RV camping and has great amenities such as a pool, river access, a basketball court, and a volleyball court. Even though the road in is narrow and bumpy, it is fully passable and all travelers along the way were courteous. All in all, this is a great spot to camp - especially for those with dogs who enjoy a good Wi-Fi signal!
