This campground is a great place for fishing, tubing, and kayaking on the Shenandoah River. The campground offers waterfront sites on a high bank, as well as sites further back from the river. It is conveniently located 20 minutes from Front Royal and close to Shenandoah National Park. The campground offers basic amenities including fire pits, portajohns, and 6 private showers with hot water, sinks, and toilets. The campground also sells ice, wood, and miscellaneous camp supplies in their office, including fire starters, bug spray, sunscreen, graham crackers, and candy. There is also an electrical outlet in the restroom by the office if you need a quick cell phone charge. REI members can use a store receipt as a free day pass. There is a dump station, though the drive is angled slightly to the right so the tanks dont empty completely. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they even offer a full refund for unused nights due to rain in the forecast.

From The Campground
Low Water Bridge Campground offers both tent and RV campsites, many of which are riverfront to the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. The majority of the camping sites offer privacy for campers. During the summer, outfitter services, river tubing, and shuttles are available. Firewood sales are offered year-round, by the cord or bundled. The campground also has electric hookup camping sites offering both 30- and 50-amp hookup. River tubing trips on the Shenandoah River can be arranged at the campground office, which also serves as a small convenience store. Bundled firewood, woodworking crafts, hand-poured soy candles, and much more are offered for sale. Low Water Bridge Campground has hosted beautiful outdoor weddings, family reunions, gender reveals, and gatherings since opening. The campground has partnered with an event planner/coordinator to assist with events planned at the campground.
