Shenandoah River State Park is the perfect spot for a family camping trip! The park offers plenty of activities, from ziplining to kayaking and fishing to hiking and biking. The campground is clean and well-maintained, with spacious sites and beautiful views of the mountain ranges and the Shenandoah River. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, fire place, poles for tarp hanging, and water and electric hook ups. The bathhouse has showers, toilets, a large clean up sink, and even washer/dryer available for a small price. There is also a privately run ziplining course within the park, and a local outfitter does paddling trips that begin up-river and include class I and II rapids. All-in-all, Shenandoah River State Park is a great spot for a camping trip!
