Sugar Hollow Campground is a hidden gem located in a huge community park, with plenty of trees and scenic views. It offers a secluded and peaceful atmosphere, with a variety of trails and parks nearby. Most lots have electricity, and water hookup is at the road and usually shared with several other campers. The campground is suitable for smaller RVs, but there are a couple of spots for larger ones. There is a dump station, shared water spigots, and a maximum stay of 10 days. WiFi and cable are available, but there is no water at every site. The campground is first come first serve, but some sites may be reserved ahead of time. There is a fire pit, picnic table, and place to hang a lantern. The roads are narrow and steep, but the sites are reasonably level. The campground is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants, and is a great place to stay for the Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion festival.

From The Campground

Sugar Hollow Campground is a highly rated campground located in Bristol, VA. It offers 75 camping sites that can accommodate all types of recreational vehicles. Each site has a picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire pit. Most sites have electrical and cable hookup with access to water. Campers also have access to two comfort stations, complete with hot showers and a sewage dump station. The campground is open from mid-April through October and offers rates of $20.00/night, with the exception of Rhythm and Roots Weekend, which is $27.00/night. The rates include water, electric, cable tv, and Wi-Fi. The campground has been recognized for its excellence, having been voted the #3 campground of the area in the Bristol Herald Courier's Best of Bristol 2022. It was also proclaimed as a TVA Camp Right Campground TVCRC in 2015 and earned the TVA Camp Right GOLD Award in 2021.
